I tink ang mo kio macs is fabulous in the morning. The subtle sound of water trickling down, birds chirping at the table beside mine, and a double chocolate frappe (omg awesome pls try); what more can I ask for? Probably the only imperfection is that there's the occassional mosquito bite [I rather sit outdoors still] and/or a disruption from the rumbling engine of a bus.

Best mugging spot with friends or even alone.
I hope it will not be too crowded this afternoon; it really spoils the atmosphere.
Economics is saying hello to me, bye to you for now (:

I was just going through some cse online readings and this just dawned on me:
Many people criticise China for imposing stringent internet censorship. However, a large fraction of the critics come from countries (which are fervent defenders of human rights) that are supplying China with the technology to censor i.e. firewalls, filters etc.

How ironic is this.

Back from Bintan at last.
Sun was hot. I was (and still am) toasted and tan.
I'll update on that in my next post probably, since I do not have my camera with me now.

Starbucks it is once again, ploughing through quotes, phrases, edits in chapters.

Teachers' Day was fine.

Monday -- No School.
Cynthia Clara Howard Ashleigh and I attempted to mug at JP starbucks in the morning but to no avail. It was warm and the company was too good that we ended up talking haha. Note to self: Never mug with big groups of people, esp nice people (:

NH was cool, minus the fact I didn't get to see some teachers I wanted to see because they were in some horrid meeting. I got what I wanted -- 409 attack on the chilli fish :D & of course, back to school means getting to see people I haven't seen for really really long :D

Tuesday -- Still no school.
Supposed to be the official teachers' day holiday but I killed most of it at eco.
Baifeng Zhikai and I all overslept and left three lonely souls stranded outside the door.
SORRY ):

Someone is getting super irritating. You'll know who if you were in my shoes.
I hope they'll be fine and that we will too be fine on saturday.

Wednesday -- which is now.
Running monday's timetable and I got to sleep in late.
But what made me feel bad and wish that holidays haven't ended is that I've not at all done anything constructive this weekend. What is I end up wasting my sept holidays :O
dad mum and I are going off to bintan island for a few days anyway.

Oh yes, interview's rescheduled from today to PPL day like zzzz.
