Yesterday;
Guzheng peeps went to sentosa =] and we saw ITMC people.LOLS.
We didn't really play the games planned, it was more of free and easy stuff. Adelaine and I went around taking pics and found this coconut tree which grew horizontally so we decided to take a picture ON it =] However, we finally got too know why there weren't any people taking pics there. The only path in there was going one big round around all those trees and there's this prickly thing on the floor. *we weren't wearing shoes* Anyway after all the stuff we managed to take pics with the help of kuolyn :) Of course we weren't stupid to round anther round so we climbed down the rocks.hahas.

Joined the others for games and obviously got VERY wet. desmond and rosellini almost buried me in the sand, but I ran away =] Didn't join them for lunch but went to cineleisure instead, and ADELAINE accompanied me =] Had our lunch before joining marc and jianhao to watch garfied2. The others have not gone in to watch silenthill by the time our movie ended. Anyway it was too late so couldnt go and watch so went to play pool with forester and marc instead..Okay, it was more of them teaching me =]First time playing can? lols. But's it's fun lar =]

Gonna go for guzheng practise l8r. Haven't practised at all throughout the holiday and even lost my scores.thanks ranie jie for photocopying it for me :) After guzheng gotta finish as much of my homework as possible. School's starting soon and most of it is still undone. There's Problem-Based Learning is term 3 and also maths test on week 2..

Saturday used to be the day I can look forward to no matter how demanding life gets, but it's impossible now..12 August, I'll be back.
Most of yesterday was spent sleeping at home cus I was too tried. The energy I'm left with from iceskating had been used up during NDP. All I can say is that there's nothing more than running. Fell asleep in the bus on the way to the stadium. Clara fell asleep too. She's finally back form her KL trip and dance practises. Miss ya girl. Anyway thanks for the souveineir :) Putting aside the tiredness, I had lunch with mum before sleeping :) LALALA~ pizza hut!

today's cert presentation @ SBMY. Campers from the prequel 06 have come back to SBMY to collect their camp certificates. Some have decided to join us while many others are still considering. Whether they join us or not, may they be well and happy :) Anyway it's also reshufflement for the existing members. I'm glad to continue being in moggollana though some members have changed:) Victeo is our new captain while hangqi is still the vice capt.Some MAY become leaders but I don't think I'm one of them. I think some know what's the stupid reason that I won't make it there larhs :( If you ask maybe I'll say bahs.. My hart is still with SBMY even though I won't be there for a while..

Since I won't be seeing most of the peeps for quite some time, I went quite crazy today. Sat there, talked, played, screamed[i know im not supposed to, so I didn't scream loudly :P], and did lots of stupid stuff XD and wanling started to go "HAHAHA..caught you all red-handed!" lols. got whacked quite abit alot :P Next week marc's gonna make cheesecake..Sadly I can't eat cus I wont be there, so maybe go to his hse to make bahs? then can learn..whahaha..tou1 shi1.. but there's NDP on friday !#$%^&@ it has totally messed up my life
I was in my cuzzie's chalet for the past two days. As usual, it's a bi-annually family outing for us to bond with each other. After all, it's only the few hours saturdays whereby we get to see each other esp when I reach there late for dinner for SBM sharing session. Spent some time talking to some members of the family, there has been lots of change for most of us, let's be glad that we are still together as one. Bladed a lil on wednesday. I must say EastCoast is definitely a better place for rollarblading, be it prices or the flooring. Fell once after getting down a steep slope. Left knee bled a lil but I'm still alright :) Two younger cuzzies and I went to wildwildwet thursday and saw andrea, then jiaxin. Clara's friend saw me but I didn't. hahas. It's a small world :)

Today there was council meeting and council outing. I thot it was some formal meeting but to my realise it was a bonding session for games. In de end our team won, due to teamwork. It's a group effort, not a one man show. Soon we were off to the iceskating rink. There were more than 15 of us. Had a alot of fun and did MORE crazy things :P Okay, at first it was cool, skated many rounds. Had loads of company from qianyi,estella,charmaine and yintong:) ShaoAn taught me how to do a T-Break and also to turn in circles.[It's from rollarblading.hahas.] Thanks guy. Desmond pulled me along for a few rounds when I'm supposed to be the one dragging him cus his leg was aching.LOLS. Thankfully he avoided people skillfully such that I didn't crash into anyone while doing so :P AND YES, NOW FOR THE CRAZY PART; nicholas the banana. whatever.Thanks to this guy we got wet with ice water[my gloves were soaking], and I fell too, cus he was right behind me dont know doing what."dont fall hor dont fall.." I fell and he fell too -.-" dont know what happened. All I know is that there are two bruises on my knees in addition to my rollar blade fall.LOLS. the arcade was the last stop wen we went to play some games.nicko left his specs there and only realised upon boarding the mrt.LOLS. AND I realised that he is one crazy person who lives ALOT further from school as compared to me. PUNGGOL. far right?

Instead of staring at the computer screen for nothing, I went blog hopping. There's this post by Alvin in the Ananda Blog which was very touching . Tears came to my eyes after reading it. We should treasure the people around us, I think I hardly did.. But in the future, I will. May all be well and happy. All of a sudden, I feel that I have not shown enough care towards the people around me, even the moomoogirls. Didn' t know what happened to maddie either even though she's also my classmate. May your grandma be well and happy.
Upon flipping through the NDP Schedule, I realised something, me and madeline wouldn't be able to go to SBMY for 7 weeks! In short, this sunday would be the last time the both of us are going all the way till 12Aug! Why you may ask, it's because the timeslot planned for us is 12.30pm till 9pm. Excluding the miss of 7sharing sessions, by the time I go back maybe there would be many new faces since camp's just over, hahas and most probbably I'll have problem knowing them =X SADDED lehs. Moreover it's just being reshuffled..haiz.. Perharps none but a few close friends would notice my absense.. =X
wanted to post some stuff yesterday but *poof* and it's all gone.LOLS.Okay, the main point was alot of SBMYians went out for movie yesterday. They meant to watch the nun but watched the omen instead cus we said it was better.lols.i didn't get to watch though cus I went shopping with biaojie and YES, i got myself a pink top :) it is NICE :) took neos with the moomoo girls!! lalalala~

okays, this week is meant for me to COMPLETE my homework but all of a sudden, loads of activities POP-ed up.Ms lim wants gong han by this sat but I doubt I can finish as I dont even have the question paper though clara gave me the format[and yes, the format is in eng.lols.it's meant to be a chinese compo -.-"]

On 18June, Sunday, CEP prequel campers would be coming back for the cert presentation, AND it'll mean reshufflement for current members, not all but some..Hope it'll be a good 'switcheroo'. hahas

anyway, it been a long but fun day out with SBMY-ians :) Met up and went to citylink gelare for lunch. However, jowell wasn't feeling well. Summore it's the suddenly kind.LOLS. Almost scare me but thankfully last time retreat the same thing happened to me so not too bad. *touchwood* Of course we didn't leave her there just like how I was being left..hehe. fuzhong sarcrificed his jacket for her :) nice right? moggollana people are all nice :) didn't plan any programme though, so we went to the arcade :) played some games and most of us tried the parapara!! LOLS. it's darn comical however the pics are with wanling..alvin,shixiong,melon and quite a number of guys tried it too! whahhaa. Off to macs cus madeline was hungry:) *after a longlong time* we reached eastcoast. it's a BBQ by jiejin and friends. Mainly MJR people but dont know who come also ask SBMYians to go. weird.. cus it was like sbmyouths do their own stuff and the MJR people do their own stuff..LOLS.so MOOMOO girl went to rent bikes :) i also dont know what we are doing lar..then shixiong and zeming go test food..cold one.heyys u guys okay bahs? hahas, cold but they still eat all lehs..yong qii ke jia wors..Anyway thanks people for inviting us :) *off to eat instant noodles...moomoo all eating instant noodles.LOLS*

Within a few weeks time, there's gonna be house reshufflement going on in SBMY. Good and bad, I think :) Good; Yarh, it'll give us a chance to know more people and work with different people and learn new things. Moreover, it's just a six month thing :] Like it or not, experience it :) Bad; hmm.. We MAY not be as close to the people who used to be with us bahs.. cus we'll be tasked to do different things at different times.. Ohwells.. Anyway, we're still an SBMY family right? CHEERIOS girl :) For me, it should be still moggollana :D Yes, we are gonna go Gelare on tuesday :) who wants to join us?
heyys, im home.I went for maths rememdial yesterday to realise that there's a common test when sch reopens. Ohwells. Anyway, I was half an hour late and Mr Liu let us go half and hour early so I only went for an hour. Sharing some camp experiences with clara during the lesson :P *laughs.* hm..I forgot to bring my key hence I was locked out. Camped at Marble's place for about an hour while asking her to teach me maths.hahas. Just like maddie, she forgot to go to sch too :P

today there was NDP Prac at the National Stadium. Went to sch with maddie in dad's car cus it was really early; 6.45am. Ohmy, and it's gonna continue for quite a number of saturdays. Although we only tried out 3times, it was darn tiring. There was sun, nagging and much more factors that made me wish im at home :) Suddenly started sms-ing in the midst of the dance cus nth much to do. Our group had break whats :)

Met up with SBMY peeps at serangoon.In de end marc didn't come down, I didn't really play bball, most of us almost got lost and loads more stuff happened. Talked alot in the shade.Hmms.. Reshufflement is here, be it for those who are leaving or staying, may you be well and happy :) Don't think there's much changes for moggollana, just a lil here and there. May the enthusiasm in you guys stay on :)


In a blink of an eye, Camp Ehi-Passiko Prequel 2006 has came to an end. It was certainly a great experience.Thanks to the organising com for giving me the chance to be the group leader of team subhuti,together with denise and victortan. Subthuti is the foremost disciple of the buddha in understanding emptiness.

THE STORYLINE for the prequel was Nam Thong Mai Ra stole the tooth relic and the choosen squad under B.I.R.D[buddhist intelligence research dept] would have to get it back. it's also known as operation forever freedom :)

DAY ONE;
We got 2nd after the icebreakers and cheers however we lost most of the afternoon games which made us last. Fortunately, this group of high-morale-subhuti youths did not lose hope and still kept up the enthusiasm :) CHEERIOS :)

DAY TWO; Around the World.
Made a wrong decision which led to us walking from lane 8 to lane 3. SORRY SUBHUTI :( it was a long was but thankfully subhuti youths were still filled with enthusiasm. completed 3 stationary stations and 4 mobile ones.the mobile stations were lame.Some stuff included playing rubber, lighting lighter and stuff like that.hahas.Some games were similar to those of last camp but it was still very fun though :) went to the AH-team's casino which was actually NG 100.it was darn funny.we did everything correctly but kept losing to fel at scissors paper stone.LOLS.Finally our perseverance paid off and we still won :) went to the goat farm too.Drank goat milk and the banana dance :P guys, thanks for being so sporting :)wanted to go to zeming station but had to wait so we went to crossing river liao.we got drenched and sandy.hahas.

NIGHT MISSION :D it rocked! i think it's the best night mission since i joined last year! nevertheless, i still died due to the lack of concentration.I was bombed by liwei despite having the toilet door as a shield.
Lessons learnt:
1.have two defenders.[if one dies, there's still one more] or you'll be like purna :p
2.listen to the umpire[dont grab all the hostages, choose if you have to] or you'll be killed from self destruction like us.
3.follow instructions.[dont step on the grass] be mindful and dont panic like upali :P

WAR GAME: it rocked too! the NTMR screeching team screamed all the way! YAY!
i think the campers enjoyed thrashing us :) however i got one headshot, one faceshot and loads of bodyshots.hahas.got killed once and faked dead another time :) it was cool seeing the campers enjoy themselves :)

DHARMA TALKS:
two nuns and mr adrian ang a.k.a ex-student of NHHS + leadership trainer came to give us 3 meaningful talks. Sadly some campers were not paying attention :( nvm lar..understandable. I was once a camper :) All we could do was to poke them at times or sit with them bahs :)

CAMPFIRE:
YEAH! we screamed, shouted,danced and had fun all the way! NickShen came too! Our group cheer was the twotwelve class cheer.hahas.Inpromptu cus i lost my cheer sheet twice :P Congrats to all those who won award for themselves :) great job guys :)

LAST NIGHT;
Didn't plan to sleep just like past camps. Listened to victor tan's ghost stories and watched the guys play taitee. Played abit but mostly watched :) Due to the total of 7hours of sleep for the past 72hours, i fell asleep on marc's back with weiqi,fiona and yongwei. it was a good sleep though it was short, AND COLD.camp christine IS VERY COLD. Phew, no muscle aches and stuff like that.hahas..Went to wake campers up and off we went..The story continues in six months.

Reflections;
Being a GL is certainly no easy job. It's different from what I thought it was. It's not like being a camper when u can play like there's no tmr. There much more u'll have to think abt, like ur camper's safety, whether they are happy, if they will be sian if you push them too much, if they will slack if you dont motivate them.. Nevetheless, it's a whole new experience which I learnt alot.I hope I wasn't too harsh on the campers =x Apologises if I was..Nevertheless,if it weren't the following people, I would have made it there..

All in all, it's a different experience.Thanks everyone for tolerating my shortcomings and for all the effort put in to make this camp a success! Hope the campers would try to walk the dhamma path & come and see what buddhism is really about..
