What say you? (:

I say Yes, for two reasons, which are the Formation of a Homogenous culture (Loss in culture and roots that disconnect us from our identity) and Widening Disparity between the Rich and Poor (Inability to harness the positive benefits of Globalisation such as increased trade and technological advances, it makes it almost impossible for 3rd world to catch up with developed hence the permanent disconnection and separation).

This was me at Gavel today, and Gavel was fun(: Esp with 3 funny fellas at the back!

I'll pretty much like to write something substantial but time forbids me. I'll be going to school to put my ZhongRuan really early tomorrow morning before I zoom to MOE for HP interview and back to school to support HH council campaigners (:

It's been a fun 5 months, way too many ingredients and dishes to memorise, long hours behind the bar, many spot checks from the management, too many parties that come on the same day and endless customers. I must say it was memorable (:
In any case I'll be making a trip back to UE this week to return the uniform and name tags etc (:

PS: Does anyone want to go to the gym tomorrow? I am feeling fat HAHA. Too much nice food to be eaten, too little time to digest and burn them before NAPFA :x

PS again: I missed all the games in CO came since I was in NCHS for quarters. I arrived only I find practise in session at 10pm HAHA But I guess it's cool. Flopped into the sleeping bag at 1230 after long walks around the school.
Gloria woke me (& another girl, sorry Idk names) up at 130am: "Hey sleepyheads, Your McFlurry is here with the 20 piece nuggets! (:"
I think we were this is blur state & just glupped everything down & fell back to our sleeping bags HAHA what pigs. I guess that's so much for not sleeping enough over the past week ): & practise resumed in the morning :O I am just afraid ZRs are ready for SYF ): 4times this week! :D

Bakerzin outlets at northpoint & jurongpoint are having 50% off main courses and desserts for Students on weekdays, between 1030am to 5pm. I haven't any idea why I am advertising this for them but well, it's somewhere I'll consider eating at (:

I am drowning in this massive pile of homework. While I don't believe it's entirely the teachers' fault for all this, I figured I'll probably need to have better time management skills sulkprocastinationsulk :x CSE FTW! Byee for now(:

I actually managed to wake up at 8plus to go jogging with Mabel (:
Delifrance Subway & to school :D
Debates was okay, but I still think I suck (don't ask why, because it's factual). Haha & we were this close to getting two white slips each. x7 But we didn't :D

Adjudication went fine I guess, & I think it's really awesome that NH got through to quarters (:
Congrats to all those who got through & even if you haven't (Had my share of this kind of moments too) there's still alot of opportunites out there, so don't give up:D

& I was really glad to see a lot of people today although I hardly got to speak with most of them :x Among them, Tazkiah Andrea Cindy etc I miss you guys :D

I really need to start putting in effort to mug hard in many areas ): Holidays ftw. I am going kayaking tomorrow :D

I just switched off the computer but it's on again in less than 5minutes.
Somehow, I just dislike the feeling of being overwhelmed with emotions.
Maybe just like how CCC puts it, when you face the limitations of language & end up bottling everything up instead of being able to express yourself, it is just irritating :x

I just realised I am only supposed to have 2 CCAs.
Even if I actually apply special request for 3rd CCA, I doubt it'll get through, seeing that I am in RPPP & Lit Fest & taking all new subjects. I have this really bad feeling that if I don't choose for myself & let the school do it, they'll make me drop debates ):
Now I regret what I just did a couple of weeks back. Shan't mention here, if you wanna know you can ask though. Bye for now. I have no school tomorrow but there's CCA.

Sometimes people ask why I still turn up at Bakerzin despite being really tired from all the CCA practises. It's because there are friends there that make you pretty drinks just to ask How Are You, & try to make your day(:

I've withdrawn from council elections a few days back.
Why, you may ask. Wasn't I all that enthusiastic & passionate blahblah.
Probably I am, but time doesn't permit.
It's probably just not-so-me to give up on things I've decided to commit to, which in this case are 3 of my ccas. Since I've made up my mind and this decision can't be reversed anyway, I ought to be happy with how I am now :D

Maybe there're many decisions to make in life. To be able to achieve some things, we'll have to give up on others and I am stuck at this cross road now. It probably just isn't the best thing to do to walk out on some people because I know these are the people that gave me the opportunities when I needed them most. Idk. Council interview is tomorrow, so let's just make the best out of what I have now. (:

Because dad thinks my school shoes would spoil in no time if I wear it everyday. LOL
But can't wear it on PE days (which includes tmr) :x Cause it's velvet :x
Figured that I won't be able to switch my black & purple laces back & forth two shoes so I decided to get a purple hairband instead, for days that I dont get matching HH OG laces :D

Although there isn't actually 29Feb this year but hope you like your cake & the fact we managed to take time off our schedules and spend time together :D
I'll always remember the Flag Day times where we would zoom to your place to finish all the stickers & go to your house after that; times where we spent at Botanics and starbucks; mugging madness during Olevels & probably many more of all these moments :D

School work is piling. I should start on them really soon, 'lest I plan to flop it just like the (probability of the) outcome of this week's lit test :x
