I knocked off work an hour early since there wasn't that much to do.
Apparently, I think it was great, because it meant that I had time to visit granny! (:
{ I dont know if my supervior thinks likewise but that shouldn't matter now. }

Sidetrack: Sembawang Shopping Centre just got revamped(: & there is NewYork NewYork Daiso Fish&co. CottonOn Espirt WanChaiHKteahouse etc. I guess it's a change for the better to pump in some life to the old building(: However there is a serious shortage of parking lots so I'll probably end up walking there or catching a shuttle bus. :x

Anyway I was pleasantly surprised to find lots of sales going on & more importantly, being able to find clothes to my liking & of my size(: It's kind of irritating when some shops have sales only for the really odd sizes :x

CherylL is not responding to me cause she is watching tv & so I am still munching on kettle chips{From bakerzin again} while sending madeline the photos.

I think my paragraphs are disjointed :x
It's probably got to do with the fact that it's 1+ in the morning now. (:

btw I think i've had enough macarons to cancel it off my "adores" list :x

thanks forester for trying to cheer me up, I am not in an emo mode, just thinking alot. & sometimes I really think that I should stop thinking. HAHAHAHA.


People step in and out of our lives all the time. However, some people leave a stronger imprint in our lives than others. When these people leave, sometimes during those quite moments, you'll feel that their presence still lingers in the air. It's not the errie feeling but something familiar, someone close to your heart. & all these while, I've been thinking of one friend, a friend that's not around me now, a friend that would probably not be around for quite a while.

Reminiscence, as they call it. I thought of the times we spent together, I haven't forgotten the late night msn chats, I remembered the day when I was told that you had to go, I recalled how I felt when I thought you had changed, but now that we're still talking, occassionally that is, I think things are still the same. Maybe it's because we weren't really that close to begin with, but that may actually be a good thing.

Probably we were never meant to be, that is. However forgetting a friend like you is hard, well at least for now.

That being said, I was really glad to be able to do closing shift today because the feeling is totally different. The pace of work was slow, customers were less demanding & there was definitely greater room for better service. & customers' satisfaction is also something that I enjoy from where I am working now(:

But more importantly is the feeling of the old days, where Dad mum and I would sit at coffee houses after dinner having cakes and hot drinks. Those were the times where fatigue & work have not seeped in, & those were the days when I didn't actually have so many things to think about. Although I still can't get used to working with W but I guess the soft music & late night breeze was a refreshing change from my nano blasting through the busy city crowd.

CHERYL! let's watch movie next week! & anyone else who want to catch a show rsvp too thanks(:

I love to work on public holidays. You may just think I am weird but it's true.
Bakerzin(UE) depends alot on customers working around clarke quay, & since it's christmas, no one is working, which means we have hardly anyone to serve! (:

I kind of regretted bothering to go down to Maxwell market to queue 30mins for my porridge this morning cause it sort of made me late for work(3mins only okay). Why? Because we had nothing to do there so we ended up eating the food ourselves-.-

& I had mocha, macaronsss, ciabatta & oreo cheesecake. Currently, I am feeling fat & full, but thankful that I do not have staff meal today or I'll probably grow fat & die-.-


I seriously need a room revamp & I am in the midst of having one(:

Unfortunately I have not recovered though my fever has gone down.
Apparently things seemed to have taken a plunge for the worse.

She does not feel like herself. She is probably to exhausted and bogged down by the many happenings around her that she has lost her ability to love, to have fun, to smile naturally, to feel sad, to cry or to be angry. She is becoming increasing distant from her emotions & probably she is the only one standing still, remaining indifferent while things pass by. She thinks that she is fading away as she feels lighter and lighter each day, not to mention that she does not have the courage to step on the weighing scale. She sees people come and go, stop and scold, &she was conditioned to ignore all of these. & Yes, she no longer believes that talking solves problems. Silence is probably the way out.

I have not finished my christmas cards though I received alot of help from mum but anyway those that I have decided to give tmr will still receive their cards HAHAHA Yes, I'll finish even if I do until 4am.

& to end off this really random post, I just had some random family arguement.
I think I am down with a cold, in addition to my sore throat.
This means that I cannot have chocolates anymore :x
Plus I am not really sure myself how I am supposed to work with a hoarse voice.

I still kind of feel bad about not going for OBS outing since I was stuck in limchukang feeding mosquitos :x But don't get me wrong kay, I do not regret going for CEP either HAHAHA

That being said,
I need time to go shopping.
I need time to do up christmas cards {You know I don't like to buy ready made ones}.
I need time to watch twilight {Don't worry, I am definitely going to watch(: }.
I need time to buy/cook/shop for stuff for 409 Christmas gathering.

Well, I must say that it wasn't the best ever camp(I think.) but what that matters even more is that most of us took on new roles & really gave it our best shot. As such, this camp has became a stepping stone for us in our learning journey & may we do even better next time! :D

Having said that I was glad & thankful to be given the role of Messing I/C & to have wonderful people helping me. Without you guys I don't know how badly I think I'll be in a dire state of panic during meal times.

Yes, if you didn't know, ShiXiong had to drive me out of camp to the CEMETRY to meet the caterer. I think we shold just stick to the caterer we've always ordered from cause this one(the one we had for camp fire) can be quite irritating sometimes. :x Anyway thanks for the trip, shixiong!

I think Jurong point's new extension is fabulous, you should visit it when you're free (: & we saw Mr Chia, Mr Edmund Ng & a few more nanhua people there. Isn't it a small world? (:

I haven't started on christmas shopping & cards. I need time space people to shop. Suggestions on msn please? (:

Some people eventually lose who they really are as they compete in this competitive rat race each day. Some people mould themselves & become better people than when they started off. & some others stand still at where they came from, watching people revolve around their lives.


People change, time is their witness. This is probably something that cannot be prevented. The only thing we can choose, or rather hope for, is that the change each time is always for the better.
