met up with the debaters again to discuss prep.we haven't much strong points though there are plenty of examples and statistics.Not really confident of our up coming match.After all it is against a strong school and we are so inexperienced. Anyway my throat is bad now so maybe i shall be the reserve.

went to SBM to help out in the vesak prep work.there was quite abit to do, putting up placards, banners, blowing balloons and many more.everyone worked hard and things were finally completed at arnd 10 :) However i left early to get the prizes and poster.gotta thank victeo for being very openminded. He mostly left us to decide on the things we are doing, in other words there aren't many restrictions and let our creativity juices flow.For a pretty indecisive person like me, it was a lil challenge at first but soon got used to it :) Did a big brown sign for our games stall and bought voodoodolls for the prizes.Phew.didn't exceed the budget.hahas.

FRIDAY;
HAPPY VESAK DAY 2550! the digits 2550 stand for the number of years since the buddha passed on.it's the first time im celebrating vesak day and to be spending it with sbmyians, im really glad.In the past i would usually take vesak day as just another public holiday to sleep.hahas.for that, i must really thank marble for bringing me to camp ehipassiko 1year ago.Time passes quickly yarhs?

Had puja with a whole lot of SBM[adults] in the large tent outside SBM.In addition,we did the salutation to the 28buddhas as it's a special day.dont really know how to pronnouce quite a number of words as it's the first time im seeing it :P With the enthusiasm of fellow moggolana[is this the correct spelling?] family members, we got our booth set up! Actually our game concept is simple, adapting the idea from one of the games last year's prequel.2members are placed in the desinated area while members of the public r our own members can shoot them with water bombs from a distance after paying a minimal price."Destroy MARA,Save the dharma.WHY? cus it's good kharma!" hahas. Our game earned quite abit but didn't sell alot of coupons hence we were ranked second in the donations brought in for the group.Sold the voodoo dolls as not many people could win them.hahas.anyway, da jia xin ku le!

SATURDAY;
Went down to SBM for a lil family day.Parents were invited to come down and see what we would normally do at SBM and also let them know about the upcoming camp! However,dad and mum could come cus they weren't free.
Nevetheless, it was fun! SBMY is always filled with enjoyable things :) Cooked spagethi with fellow moggolana people.hahas.laura finally got to eat our spagethi :D But we cooked too much :P 5packets was a whole lot.thankfully the sauce was okay and the egg salad rocked! it was first to finish!

couldn't join them for the candle light procession once again as i had to mug a lil before i went to grandma's place for dinner.On the way, mum told me something quite touching.
mum: "not fair"
me:"why?"
mum:"i told your grandma to cook fried beehoon since she hasn't done it for a long time but she immediately rejected my idea."
me:"why?"
mum:"she says you don't like to eat it"
me:*speechless*

I used to stay at my grandma's place when i was very young, as a result, im very close to her.I USED to hate to eat beehoon when i was young hence my grandma only cooked it when im not around to spare me the agony of eating it and she would also cook other dishes which i enjoy eating, weekly, without fail. Although now im OKAY with beehoon already, i didn't realise that she still cared so much.THANKS! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
